Pietropaolo's talk, sponsored by the Center for Liberal Arts and Society; Theater, Dance and Film; English; Italian; Physics and Astronomy; Comparative Literary Studies; and Bonchek College House, is free an open to the public. The talk will be followed by a reception.
Pietropaolo's visit is in conjunction with the Green Room Theatre's presentation of "Six Characters in Search of an Author" by Luigi Pirandello, Feb. 19-22. Pietropaolo is an Italian and dram professor at the University of Toronoto and is also the departmental chair. His major research interests include literary theory, commedia dell'arte, theater history and 18th century Italian literature. He is cross appointed to St. Michael's College and is president of the Canadian Institute for Mediterranean Studies.
