Professor Timothy J. Moore, Professor of Classics and Comparative Literature at the University of Texas, Austin, spoke in the Ware College House Great Room on Thursday, March 10, at 4:30 p.m. The title of the lecture was “Topsy-Turvy Comedy in Ancient Rome and Medieval Japan.”
Professor Moore has written extensively on Roman comedy and its music. His forthcoming book, Music in Roman Comedy, will be published by Cambridge University Press. He is an alumnus of Millersville University.
