Who We Are:

Headed by chair Elizabeth Clark Mackey '75, the mission of the CFW is to serve as an affinity group for alumnae, parents, faculty, students, administrators, trustees, neighbors, and friends.
 

What We Do:

 The Council aims to further the education of women, provide guidance to women and enhance relationships among women affiliated with Franklin & Marshall.
 

Upcoming Events:

The Steering Committee is planning three events for 2012 – a women’s leadership luncheon celebrating class of 2012 student leaders, an casual networking social during Reunion Weekend, and at Homecoming a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Alice Drum Women’s Center.

Reunion Networking Social
2 - 4 p.m. at the Home of Provost Ann Steiner (452 Race Ave.)

Come learn more about the CFW, its programs and how you can get involved. You'll get a chance to mingle with Council members and women of all generations from F&M. Plus, you'll hear current students talk about their inspiring projects and academic endeavors, including:

  • Construction of the Lux et Lex School in rural Cambodia, spearheaded by the development efforts of Jessica Fuhrman '12, the International Women's Outreach Committee, and The Human Rights Initiative (Learn more!).
  • Atma: The Refugee Artisan Initiative, a winner of the 2012 Franklin Innovation Challenge, created by the team of May Aung '12, Judith Stapleton '12, and Rukhshana Tuli '12 (Learn more!).

Light refreshments will be served.
