The purpose of this organization shall be to provide avid economics students and faculty the opportunity to discuss the subject of economics, debate and discuss current events, and meet and listen to guest speakers. Although this is an academic club, its meetings and activities are designed to be both interesting and interactive. Guest lectures are also a significant aspect of the Economics Club. An average of 2 students per semester receive internships through the Club's guest lecturers. The Economics Club has about 20 members, there is no cost to join and meets Thursday nights at 7:30. Free pizza and drinks are provided each meeting.
