Benjamin Rush Honor Society

The Benjamin Rush Honor Society is the pre-health honor society on campus. The society is made up of Juniors and Seniors who wish to pursue a health related occupation. Members range from aspiring physicians to veterinarian to dentist to public health officials. Our society is made up of 4 major committees. The Alumni Relations committee works with former Ben Rush members and other F&M pre-health alumni to foster mentorships and shadowing experiences. The Lecture Committee works alongside the Alumni committee to bring medical professionals and professional school students to campus to speak to current pre-health students. Our 1st Year Experience Committee pairs current Ben Rush members with 1st year pre-health students in a mentoring program. We also hold regular events with 1st years about pre-health at F&M. Finally, the Fundraising Committee works raise money for our society or for charities through fundraising events.
