Environmental Geochemistry
Studying the Interaction of Human Activity with Soils, Sediments and Water Resources
Funded by the Pennsylvania Delegation of the Chesapeake Bay Commission, this laboratory allows students and faculty to study the sources of nutrients, sediment loading and heavy metals in the tributary waters of Chesapeake Bay.
CEM MarsXpress Microwave digestion system used for the digestion of soils and sediments.
Costech Elemental Combustion System used for the analysis of carbon and nitrogen.
