It is the goal of the College to provide a fire safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors to Franklin & Marshall facilities through fire prevention and fire protection systems.
This is accomplished through fire prevention education, inspections, pre-operational reviews, fire hazard analysis, fire extinguisher and fire evacuation training programs and oversight of fire protections system inspections programs.
Emphasis in education and implementation of programs for in-residence students and other areas is a major component.
Services provided to the College community include Emergency Preparedness Training, and Event Planning consultation.
State and Local Fire Codes are maintained throughout Campus.
The Office of the Fire Coordinator is assigned to Environmental, Health & Safety and is housed in the Facilities and Operations building located at 415 Harrisburg Pike. You may contact them at: 717 358-4761.
