Meeting the Need
Franklin & Marshall College distributes financial aid based solely on need. The College pledges to meet 100 percent of every student's institutionally determined need for all four years. Half of our students receive some type of need-based aid.

The incoming Class of 2016 will benefit from increased funds for need-based financial aid. This significant boost underscores our commitment to enroll highly qualified students who could not otherwise afford a Franklin & Marshall College education. In addition, these resources will help families who have been adversely affected by the recession.
A primary goal of the comprehensive fund-raising campaign we are now planning is to increase substantially our endowment-funded financial aid. This larger fund will ensure much more financial aid for this generation and future generations of students.
