Appel Health Services – (1) Student needed to provide nonclinical support for nursing and/or front office staff. Duties include a variety of typing and organizational work. Student needs to have a working knowledge of Word and Excel (on MAC and Window platforms) and typewriter skills for forms. Good communication skills are required also for phone calls to outside physician offices. General typing includes: updates to Policy and Procedure manual, forms and documents used in the department. Medical referral sheets need to be kept up to date as well as physician office business cards. Other duties as required. Semester only when Appel is open.
