Intramural and Recreational Assistants will work with the Coordinator of Recreation and Intramurals in providing support for the numerous intramural and recreation events.  Duties include: scheduling, officiating, event set up, tournament management, record keeping, and other duties as assigned.  Students must be punctual, reliable, outgoing, able to manage event personnel and participants.  Interpersonal skills a must.  If you are creative, like sports and enjoy leadership opportunities - this position is for you!  Contact:

Sports Information Assistants support the efforts of Sports Information Department.  Duties include:  writing press releases, game programs, statistical research, filing, record keeping, and other duties as assigned.  Students must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented - accuracy a must.  This position offers the opportunity to participate in the management of events for 26 varsity sports.  Contact:

Student Monitors work in the Strength Center, Mayser Center or the ASFC.  Duties include verifying IDs, cleaning equipment, supporting special events, reporting facility and equipment repairs and other duties as assigned.  Students working in Mayser and the ASFC assist in laundering athletic uniforms. Students must be reliable, energetic, and punctual.  Interpersonal skills are important as you will be interacting with students, faculty, staff, patrons and visitors to the college.  Contact: ,       

Athletic Event Staff - The Athletic Department hosts numerous athletic events throughout the year.  We are looking for enthusiastic students to perform duties ranging from scorekeeping, security, game announcing, stats, and other duties as assigned.  Applicants must be reliable, punctual and have a general understanding of the sports. ASFC Building Manager – The ASFC Building Manager is responsible for the entire ASFC building. They will work with student workers and support staff.  Duties include: opening and closing the ASFC, training ASFC student workers, signing student workers in and out for shifts, checking court reservations, periodically performing rounds on the building, reporting any problems to Service Response Center, completing guest counts, and other tasks as assigned. ASFC Lifeguard – The ASFC lifeguard is responsible for the supervision of the Kunkel Aquatic Center.  Duties Include:  enforcing the rules of the Aquatic Center, supervising the pool from the lifeguard chair at all times, completing daily pool logs, completing incident reports for any situations encountered, opening the pool and pool locker rooms, and any other tasks as assigned.  Lifeguards must maintain current certification.  Contact: Aquatics Director, 

Athletic Department Student Supervisor: Will work with Athletic Department administrative staff. Duties include: develop working schedule for student workers, assist with staff training, regularly replenish supplies, provide on-call support on weekend rotation, assist other student employees with finding shift substitutions, provide desk coverage when substitute is not found, attend weekly meeting with Athletic Department administrators, and perform any other task assigned.  Contact: ,       

Assistant Student Supervisor/Scheduler: Will be appointed to a Student Supervisor in their final year with the intent to take over their position the following year.
