Development Information Student Assistant:  Student needed for resume-building fundraising research assistance.   The ability to handle confidential material responsibly is required and familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel, and the Internet are preferred.  The applicant must be self motivated and able to work independently.  Duties include researching potential donors to Franklin & Marshall using historical alumni files, printed reference material and electronic resources, maintaining the alumni database, performing data entry and other routine office duties.  Applicant must have accuracy and excellent proofreading skills as well as the ability to concentrate, work independently, and attend to many details.  The work is extensively at a computer terminal.  The ability to write clearly and succinctly is a must.  The applicant should have a curiosity about people.  A sense of history, a sense of the business world and the stock market and a familiarity with Franklin & Marshall’s libraries and literature search resources are preferred skills.  Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.  Student hours are adaptable semester to semester.  Pay is standard at $7.25 hour.  Questions, please contact, Ms. Tia Guinivan at .  (1)  Fall, Spring, Winter, Summer
