MyAidAward

Student Financial Aid Account Online

Welcome to MyAidAward.  Similar to other online accounts which you may have, including MyDiplomat, MyAidAward is a secure, password protected and encrypted system that allows you to view your F&M financial aid information online.  It is brought to you by the College’s Office of Financial Aid. 

MyAidAward allows you to view online your need-based, loan amounts, loan history, documents that have been received by the aid office, documents in need for completion of your aid application, and messages relevant to you.

How do I establish my PIN? (Current F&M Students)

In order to access your MyAidAward account as a currently enrolled F&M student, you will need your student short username (your first initial plus the first seven (7) letters of your last name – all combined).  Ben Franklin’s short username would be “bfrankli.” You will also need to establish your personal identification number, or PIN by verifying some personal information.  Your PIN will be personalized by you, so when you construct it, please keep it safe and secure. It will be unknown to the Office of Financial Aid staff and therefore cannot be released over the phone or in person.  If you wish to share access to your MyAidAward account with your parents, you are welcome to provide them access.

In order to create your PIN for the first time:

  1. Simply logon to (https://myaidaward.fandm.edu).
  2. In the LOG IN box, enter your F&M short username in the “Student ID” field (your first initial followed by the last seven letters of your last name).  For example, Benjamin Franklin would be “bfrankli.”  YourStudent ID is not case sensitive.
  3. Leave the PIN box blank.
  4. In the bottom of the LOG IN box, click on the hot link entitled “First Time User,” and follow the instructions.  If you receive an error after clicking "First Time User," go back to step 2, follow the instructions again, and this time click on "Forgot your PIN?"
  5. Once you have successfully received your PIN, return to the login screen and enter both your Student ID and your PIN.

You should successfully be logged into MyAidAward.

How do I establish my PIN? (Prospective and Entering First Year F&M Students)

In order to access your MyAidAward account as a prospective student or an admitted and enrolling first-year student, you will need your Student ID that was mailed to you by the Office of Financial Aid shortly after you applied for admission.  Please NOTE:  This is NOT the same ID login that was issued to you by the Office of Admission. 

You will also need to establish your personal identification number, or PIN, by verifying some personal information.  Your PIN will be personalized by you, so when you construct it, please keep it safe and secure. It will be unknown to the Office of Financial Aid staff and therefore cannot and will not be released over the phone or in person.  If you wish to share access to your MyAidAward account with your parents, you are welcome to provide them access.

In which "Current Award Year" should I be logged in?

At the top of the main page, in the blue menu bar, you should choose either the current award year, or you may choose next year's award year.  You will likely see different tab menus available to you depending upon which award year you are logged.

In which browser will MyAidAward work?

The College Board cites Internet Explorer 6.0 or better as the only supported Web browser for MyAidAward.  We have found, however, that Firefox and Safari can work as well.
