Daniel joined the Franklin & Marshall Office of Admission in July of 2011. He is responsible for the College's enrollment management and financial aid operations. As an undergraduate, Daniel was an active member in several cultural groups, theater, orchestra and intramural sports. In a past life, he was an entertainment and sports attorney in New York City and continues to be an avid sports, music and film fan.

A "Dip" herself, Julie joined the Office of Admission in the fall of 2005. In her Fummer days, Julie was a member of the College's first women's rugby team. However, after breaking her nose during a game she reconsidered her dedication to athleticism. Julie's employment in the Office of Admission coincided with her children's own college searches. Struck by the sometimes impersonal or overwhelming feel of college visits and endeavors, Julie was eager to join the warm and accessible Office of Admission at her alma mater. In addition to serving as the Office's Director, Julie enjoys working with the Alumni and Development teams, and overseeing publications for Admissions.

Paul joined Franklin & Marshall's Office of Admission in August 2010. As an undergraduate student, Paul played club soccer, intramural softball and basketball and worked in the athletics department. In graduate school, Paul was chosen to be a HGSE Student Ambassador. After graduating, he knew he wanted to work at a small liberal arts college with a strong reputation for academics and a close-knit community. As the dean representing the local community, Paul attends many events at area high schools and community-based organizations.

Chiquita joined Franklin & Marshall's Office of Admission in August 2009. In college, she was an active member of the Black Student Union, Leadership Lehigh, National Society of Black Engineers, and LU's Finest Step Team. She also acted as a Diversity Delegate for Admission at Lehigh. Chiquita coordinates the Collegiate Leadership Summit (CLS), co-organizes multicultural programming, and acts as an F&M liaison to the Posse program.

Having worked in the Office of Admission for 25 years, Penny is an important advisor to our entire staff as well as to prospective students. A true Renaissance woman, Penny played both lacrosse and field hockey in college, belonged to an art group, and enjoyed conducting research in biology. In addition to having a lengthy travel season as Director of International Admission, Penny also manages the admission of transfer students to F&M.

Abby joined the Office of Admission in August 2010. As an undergraduate student, she coached and played for a club field hockey team, volunteered for Amnesty International, and participated in Model UN. As a graduate student, she worked as a research assistant for a project on adolescent literacy. In addition to her regular responsibilities as an Assistant Dean, Abby enjoys helping to coordinate Admission events.

Tom joined the Office of Admission in July 2009, and acts as the liaison to our Athletic Department. During his college years, Tom was Captain of the NCAA DII/DIII Men's Ice Hockey Team and winner of the Kelleher Award for Best Male Student-Athlete. He was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, The Men Against Sexual Harassment House, and the Saint Michael's College GOALS Program.

Susan began working for Franklin & Marshall in 2007 in the Art and Art History Department. She joined the Office of Admission in June 2009 as an Admission Counselor, interviewing prospective students who visit campus. In August 2010 she began working as an Assistant Dean. In addition to her regular responsibilities as an Assistant Dean, she is the co-advisor of the F&M Knitting Club. Susan also serves as the Office's unofficial humorist.

While at F&M:
Left behind sailing, ice climbing and skiing in Northern New England to come to F&M, lived in the Murray Arts House, worked at Ben's Underground, won the Barbara Nelson Award for Distinction in Writing.
After F&M: Went native in true Lancaster County style, joining PASA in support of sustainable agriculture and farmer's markets and riding 25 mile fundraising bike rides (learned the meaning of this southern term, "humidity"). Worked through graduate school on an Amish farm shearing sheep and caring for buggy horses. Learned canning from the Amish. Worked within urban school districts in Lancaster during graduate research. Began Admissions work in a state school office in 2007. Came to work at F&M as an Admission Counselor in October 2010.
