The reasons I give to F&M are actually rather simple. The connection I feel to my alma mater is one that I hope to pass down to future generations as an institution that prides itself on the true meaning of higher education: teaching individuals how to think, question, and interact with the world around them. Additionally, F&M allowed me to figure out who I was and what I was good at. This wouldn't have been possible without the supportive, nurturing, and intellectual environment that F&M fosters among its students and faculty. But most importantly, F&M is family.
