I give to F&M because even though my small contribution may not mean much in the grand scheme of things, it is my way of saying “thank you” to the school that has provided me countless opportunities and the best memories from the past four years. Since my first day on campus, I began forming friendships with the people moving in around me. Four years later, the people that lived on my freshman hall (yeah second Buch!!) are still my best friends. The first year seminar solidified my relationship with these crazy strangers. Before we even knew each other we were sitting on the floor of our professor’s living room, petting her cats, and reading excerpts from our favorite children’s books. The house system was one of the main reasons I decided to come to F&M and is still one of my favorite parts of the school. By living and learning amongst the same group of people, I quickly found my! place and I am forever grateful to F&M for this.
