Students may choose a minor in either Area Studies or International Studies. These minors consist of a combination of six courses designed to develop a depth of knowledge about a particular region of the world (Area Studies) or to combine language study, a semester abroad, and coursework to extend or enhance a focus in a student's major (International Studies).
For more information about both minors, see the Curriculum Overview (International Studies).
A student may also incorporate International Studies courses into a special studies major, or may choose to combine International Studies with course work in another department to do a joint major.
For additional information, see International Studies.
For questions about any of these options, contact Professor Lisa Gasbarrone, Director of International Studies for 2013-14.
