Language Study

Franklin & Marshall students pursue a global education by studying one of the eleven different languages we offer.

Languages are truly gateways into culture, and they offer global opportunities to travel, whether for pleasure, for learning, or for business, and to live abroad.  Many Franklin & Marshall students will live and work abroad.  From introductory level courses to advanced seminars in literature, culture, and film. language study prepares them for these experiences.

The College offers several modern languages:  Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.  We also offer Latin and Greek.
