Current Students

Residency Policy

College policy requires all students to live in college approved housing all four years. College approved housing includes a College House residence hall, a residential annex building, a theme house or an off campus apartment to include the James Street Properties (JSP), College Row and College Hill. Upper class college housing is managed with an annual housing lottery held each Spring.

All first-year students are assigned to one of the five College Houses: 

Bonchek, Brooks, NewWeis, or Ware.

Bonchek College House was renamed in 2007. Currently, Bonchek College House houses students in the following buildings: South Benjamin Franklin Hall, a floor in Thomas Hall and a floor in Schnader Hall.

Brooks College House was renamed in the fall of 2008. Currently, Brooks College House houses students in the following buildings: Marshall and Buchanan Halls, a floor in Thomas Hall and a floor in Schnader Hall.

Founded in 2011, the New College House in the newest house on campus and was built to reflect the priorities of the College's house system.

In 2011, Schnader College House was re-named Weis College House.
