Human Resources Mission:
To develop, foster, and implement strategies, processes, and programs that support the College's strategic plans and priorities.
To be an employer of choice who attracts and retains highly qualified faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.
To provide resources and tools to allow staff to enhance their skills and abilities, so they are best able to promote academic excellence and serve the College, our students, alumni, and donors.

Primary Areas of Responsibility:
Strategic planning: assuring Human Resources priorities are aligned with College plans and priorities
Talent acquisition: staffing planning; staff recruitment, hiring, and onboarding
Rewards and recognition: compensation strategy and planning, staff salary administration, benefits plan design and administration
Talent management: professional development, performance management, retention
Employee relations and communications; providing consultation to managers
Policy development: creation of Human Resources-related policies and programs aligned with College objectives
Compliance, risk management, and audit as it pertains to compensation, benefits, and Human Resources functions
