Human Resources

Human Resources Mission:

  • To develop, foster, and implement strategies, processes, and programs that support the College's strategic plans and priorities.

  • To provide resources and tools to allow staff to enhance their skills and abilities, so they are best able to promote academic excellence and serve the College, our students, alumni, and donors.

  • Laura Fiore, Director of Human Resources, focuses on benefit plan design; provides guidance on Human Resources policies and practices; and offers consultation on employee-relations issues, compliance-related issues, and employment-related claims.

  • maryann wynn
  • Maryann Wynn, Assistant Director, offers assistance and guidance in the areas of professional staff recruitment, hiring and work visa/immigration; job descriptions; compensation; employee relations; professional development; and wellness.

  • kelly bertani
  • Kelly Bertani, Human Resources Administrator, provides information about benefits enrollment; the onboarding process for newly appointed members of the campus community; background checks and motor vehicle / driving record checks; and replies to general inquiries about benefit plans and Human Resources policies.

  • carmen ringold
  • Carmen Ringgold, HRIS Coordinator, replies to inquiries pertaining to employment and benefits information stored in the Banner Human Resources Information System.

  • kathy smith
  • Kathy Smith, Business Systems Analyst, administers the information systems that empower Human Resource and Payroll.  Her work leads to a streamlined workflow, while creating maximum accuracy, reliability, and validity of the workforce data.

  • Christine Callender, Human Resources Administrator, provides information about Family & Medical Leave; paid sick/disability leave; Workers' Compensation; COBRA; education benefits for dependents; resignation and retirement; and replies to general inquiries about benefit plans and Human Resources policies.

  • Tammy Pohle, Project Specialist, initiates and completes projects and planning activities on behalf of Human Resources.  Her responsibilities include researching and proactively recommending new or enhanced programs and activities, policies, procedures, and benefits.
