Human Resources Mission:

  • To develop, foster, and implement strategies, processes, and programs that support the College's strategic plans and priorities.
  • To be an employer of choice who attracts and retains highly qualified faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Primary Areas of Responsibility:

  • Strategic planning: assuring Human Resources priorities are aligned with College objectives
  • Talent acquisition: planning, professional staff recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention
  • Total compensation planning and budgeting; rewards and recognition; salary administration
  • Benefits plan design and administration
  • Development of Human Resources-related policies aligned with College objectives
  • Compliance and audit pertaining to Human Resources functions
  • Talent management: professional development, performance management
  • Employee relations and communications
