Double Room

The New College House, completed this summer, houses approximately 180 students.  First-year students are centrally located on the north and south halls of floors 2, 3, and 4. Upperclass students reside in the suites and apartments flanking the building. Blinds are provided in all of the rooms, and the dorm furniture can be lofted since it is not fixed in place.

Additional furniture for each student:

Four drawers, each 25 ¾“ wide x 17 ¾“ deep x 6” high

One small bookshelf

The house has a kitchen on the first floor equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and induction stove. The house also has a common lounge on each floor, and study rooms off of the first-floor Great Room. Every floor has single gender bathrooms, which are a short walk from each dorm room.  There is also a laundry room in the basement.
