Schnader enjoys a prime campus location. From its vantage point on the east end of the quad, Schnader serves as the point which separates the residential quad from the main academic areas of F&M. Schnader houses approximately 185 residents, most of which are sophomores but also some upper class students.
Schnader is mostly arranged in co-ed floors. Several floors have a small kitchenette to include a small sink, cabinets and a microwave. In the lower level there is a full kitchen. There is a common lounge and a common laundry room - Schnader Laundry Room.
Room furniture is movable and can be placed according to a resident's liking. In 2011, the Schnader common areas were spruced up with new paint, new carpeting and new common area furnishings. Because all residence hall rooms are fully furnished, the College does not permit students to bring upholstered furniture to campus.
