In addition to overseeing the compiling of information for external reporting, the Office of Institutional Research oversees the College's work in assessing the effectiveness of its programs and in planning for future change. This includes collecting and analyzing information regarding the Curriculum and student achievement. It also includes attempting to determine the extent to which we have met our goals in academics, financial resources, and student life. Issues external to the College that may present challenges or opportunities either now or in the future are also investigated. This Office works so as to insure that goal-setting and policy making are based on the appropriate information and that we are aware of areas where further efforts are needed. We value and embrace the accountability to our constituents that such assessment promotes.
