Insurance & Risk Management Mission Statement:
Insurance and Risk Management at Franklin & Marshall College will make every reasonable effort to preserve and protect the assets of college through avoidance, mitigation and prevention of all risks our student body, faculty, professional staff and community members could potentially be exposed.
Keeping people safe is the primary goal of Franklin & Marshall's risk management program. We also seek to protect property and preserve other assets of the College, like our reputation as a leading institution of higher education. With these goals in view, risk management is everyone's responsibility - both students and employees. It requires planning, thoughtful review and careful choices. Tools are available to assist you.
Sometimes despite our collective best efforts to losses, people get hurt and property gets damaged.
