If you have never been to the Joseph International Center (JIC) at 701 College Avenue, you are in for a treat! We have a beautiful  house that is warm and rich in color and culture and welcomes you to relax and watch a movie.

We have a small collection of foreign film dvds and will also consider ordering films you suggest. You may also bring your own dvd. You may bring snacks and use the kitchen here.

To reserve the Global Commons and the kitchen for a film viewing, fill out the online reservation form and wait for a confirmation to make sure the space is free on the day/time you choose. Once you have a reservation confirmation, contact  in the International Studies Program to set up a time to come get a tour and familiarize yourself with the tv/dvd player and select a film to view.  

You are responsible for showing the film, cleaning up,  making sure the dvd is returned to its designated storage place and that the front door is locked when you leave.
