  2. In the dialog box, type \\ and press Enter

  3. When prompted, enter your NetID and Password

  4. In the eDisk window, double click either Groups or People.

    1. Groups: All offices, departments, clubs, and organizations have their own Groups folder.

    2. People: The People folder is organized alphabetically by last name. All registered eDisk users including students, faculty, and professional staff have their own People folder.

Private folders are only accessible by the person or group to whom they belong

Public folders can be viewed by anyone in the Franklin & Marshall community, but they can only be written to by the person or group to whom they belong.

Sites folders can be used to host files on the web. This is useful for sharing files via a web browser. To read more about sites, click here.

Located within each faculty member’s People folder is also a Courses folder. Inside the Courses folder, there is a folder for each course that is taught by that faculty member. Access to individual course folders is only granted to students who are registered for that particular course.

Note: To log out of eDisk on Windows, click on the Start menu and select Log Off from the shutdown menu.
