What services and facilities do we provide?

Information Technology Services is not a single entity; we offer a range of services through the network, the phones, and on a walk-in basis. Our goal is to maintain a robust information infrastructure and related support services with a special emphasis on integrating technology into the curriculum. We plan and manage information technology resources from a college-wide perspective and strive to provide a versatile and navigable information infrastructure.

In working toward these endeavors, here are some of the services that we offer:

  • Audio-Visual Equipment, equipment for classroom use by College faculty, as well as more limited support for general campus use
  • Blackboard, the College's course/learning management system
  • Campus Cable Television, commercial television content in residence halls, classroom building, and other facilities throughout the campus
  • Campus Manager, the tool we use to create a safe and secure network - anyone using the campus network is required to register their computer before gaining access to the network
  • Computer backup service for employees
  • eDisk, your personal space for electronic document storage and information exchange
  • eLearning Lab
  • Hardware Services for computer and printer purchases
  • Instructional Technology Support, tools to enhance instruction for faculty and students
  • Media Center
  • Network Configuration & Settings, getting on the F&M computer network
