If you need to telephone the ITS Call Center, it will expedite your call if you have the following information readily available:
Your NetID.
The model of computer you use (e.g., iMac, MacBook Pro, Dell Inspiron, etc.)
The processor of the computer (e.g., Intel Core Duo, Intel Core i5)**
What operating system you are running (OS X 10.7, Windows 7, etc.)**
The application you are using (Word, Excel, Apple Mail, Gmail).
Any displayed error messages.
** Mac users: Click on the Apple menu and select "About this Mac."
** Windows users: Right-click on "My Computer," and from the contextual menu, select "Properties."
