Biography

Kathy has previously worked in the Office of Alumni Programs and Annual Giving and the former Career Advisement Services at F&M.  She has also worked in Career Services and as a part-time Academic Adviser at Penn State University, Berks Campus.  Kathy worked at HACC Lancaster with the KEYS Program and as the Interim Director of Multicultural Programs.  She has taught the course “Effective Career Decision Making” at both Penn State University and Harrisburg Area Community College.  She is a Certified Administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).

Kathy is passionate about advising students.  She enjoys guiding F&M students through the career advisement process by helping them to understand and appreciate their unique gifts, explore opportunities, and formulate their goals.  Kathy works to connect students with appropriate resources to help them learn more about themselves (their interests, abilities, strengths, personality) and to learn more about post-graduate opportunities from people who are working in their fields of interest.
