NATIONAL
COLLEGE ADVISING CORPS
Keystone Region
Identifying, Assisting, Empowering

The National College Advising Corps' Keystone Region works to...
-
IDENTIFY potential students and the variety of post-secondary options available to them.
-
ASSIST students in collecting necessary forms, materials, and resources to apply for post-secondary admissions.
-
EMPOWER students to make the transition into post-secondary education.
By hiring recent college graduates, the NCAC Advisers will identify, assist, and empower students to make the transition from high school to a post-secondary institution. Advisers work full time and focus on low-income, first generation students, mentoring these students through the increasingly complex and costly steps in post-secondary education. Advisers also work closely with guidance counselors and school administration to provide the necessary resources and support to raise post-secondary matriculation rates.
The Keystone Region of NCAC is a consortium of Dickinson College, Franklin & Marshall College, Gettysburg College, Millersville University, and Shippensburg University.
