The Seachrist Fellows of the Local Economy Center presented their latest research at the 2011 National Conferences on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) at Ithaca College, NY, March 31-April 2. NCUR, established in 1987, is dedicated to promoting undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study.

The paper presented by the fellows is titled "Local Area Economic Analysis: An Examination of a Regional Economy" and explores the strengths and weaknesses of the Lancaster Economy in the context of the economic downturn and longer-term structural changes in the US economy. It will be published in the forthcoming NCUR conference proceedings.
