The Theta Lambda chapter of Alpha Delta Pi includes 76 charter members. Kaitlyn Kines ’13, the chapter’s president, accepted the chapter’s charter from Tammie Pinkston, Alpha Delta Pi’s international president.

“Representing Alpha Delta Pi as chapter president…will be the greatest and most rewarding endeavor I have taken on thus far outside of my academic career,” Kines said. “The excitement that each sister has for the future of this ADPi chapter is infectious.”

Alpha Delta Pi was founded at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Ga., in 1851. The sorority has more than 215,000 initiated members in 139 active chapters and more than 150 alumnae associations. The Alpha Delta Pi Foundation, a nonprofit organization, offers funding for scholarships, grants, educational programming and leadership training.
