College Benefits from EITC Program
Representatives from Frontier Communications visited F&M on Tuesday to meet leaders from the National College Advising Corps-Keystone Region (NCAC-KR) and Philadelphia Alumni Writers House, programs the company supports through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. With a $20,000 check from Frontier, from left, are Ryan Sauder, director of corporate and foundation relations at F&M; Jessica Fegely ’10, NCAC-KR adviser; Bert Kramer, general manager for southern Pennsylvania, Frontier Communications; Emily Weir ’09, assistant director, NCAC-KR; Elena Kilpatrick, area general manager, Frontier Communications; Barbara Buckman Strasko, poet in the schools for Poetry Paths; Tashya Dalen, program coordinator, Poetry Paths; Kerry Sherin Wright, director, Writers House; and Robert Freund, director, NCAC-KR. Other businesses that have used the EITC Program to generously support F&M are Elizabethtown Insurance Company; Fulton Bank; SofterWare, Inc.; Tomlinson Bomberger Lawn Care, Landscape & Pest Control; Warfel Construction Company; Waste Management, Inc.; Witmer Waterproofing; and Worley and Obetz.
