Student Artist Exhibit
The Annual Juried Student Exhibition, held from April 23 to May 10 in the Rothman Gallery in the Phillips Museum of Art, features artwork by Franklin & Marshall College student artists and art majors.
Awards for best two-dimensional and three-dimensional works and best-of-show will be presented at a reception for the artists in the Rothman Gallery on April 23, at 4:30 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Student Conductors Take Up Their Wands
Students from the College’s conducting class will direct the Franklin & Marshall Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble or Philharmonia on Wednesday, April 29, at 8 p.m., in the Barshinger Center for Musical Arts.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Spring Arts ’09
Spring Arts 2009 “Probe the Globe” offers live music, food, games, crafts, a photo booth and more on Saturday, April 25, from noon to 6 p.m., on Hartman Green.
The event is sponsored by the College Entertainment Committee. Admission is free, but the event is open only to F&M students and College employees and their families.
Ten By Ten
The directing class of Carol Davis, associate professor of theater, will present 10 one-act plays directed by the 10 students in the class.
“Ten By Ten: Two Evenings of Short Plays” will be presented on Sunday, April 26, and Monday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m., in the Green Room Theatre. Admission is free.
