Give Ben’s Bucks for Those In Need
What if there was no meal for you today? Or you were cold because the heat in your dorm room didn’t work?
Consider turning some of your Ben’s Bucks into real dollars to help those in need in the Lancaster community. Friday, Nov. 7, is United Way HELPS Donation Day.
Come to the Steinman College Center Atrium between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and swipe your student Ben’s Bucks card to make a donation to United Way.
It takes only seconds to help those in need in Lancaster. Consider what your contribution could do:
- $5 could provide a good meal at a homeless shelter;
- $10 could help provide a place to stay for the night or provide child care;
- $20 could help with education expenses; or
- $40 could help a family pay for food and heating bills
You can also donate using a check or cash. Ask for a form at the table.
