Muriel Turner of RCM&D is the College's new Risk Manager, effective immediately. Muriel replaces Patrick Amice who previously served in this capacity. Muriel's risk management responsibilities include providing expertise regarding the College's property and casualty insurance coverage and claims as well as consultation on risk generating activities and the development of educational and training programs.
Muriel has been in the insurance industry for 30 years, spending the majority of her career with RCM&D in the commercial property and casualty division. Muriel has worked extensively with nonprofit and educational institutions in Pennsylvania, Maryland and other jurisdictions. Muriel is a graduate of Towson University with a bachelor of arts in business administration. She is a former instructor for the Insurance Society of Baltimore and has earned the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designations. Muriel is also a licensed insurance consultant.
