The talent of Franklin & Marshall students took center stage last week at an annual philanthropic talent show organized by members of Kappa Delta sorority.
ShamRock the Stage, now in its third year, took place in the Roschel Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Dec. 8. Ticket sales, a bake sale and donations from the F&M community enabled Kappa Delta to raise more than $2,000 for local and national charities. The proceeds benefit Prevent Child Abuse America and Kappa Delta’s local beneficiary, The Bridge of Hope Lancaster & Chester Counties.
“ShamRock brings the student body together to observe some of the talents on campus and support a great cause,” says Emily Song ’13, Kappa Delta’s vice president of community service.
Numerous student groups participated in the talent show, including Sweet Ophelia, The Poor Richards, Alpha Phi, Alpha Delta Pi, Desi Fusion, and The Hucksters, among others. The following is a list of winners:
