College-Wide Summer Travel Awards

The International & Off-Campus Study Committee administers the following summer travel awards. Students may apply for multiple awards in one term. Read the award descriptions for more information about eligibility. The maximum amount for each award is $3000.00.

How to Apply

Complete applications for Summer 2011 are due in the Office of International Programs by on January 30, 2012. Late applications will not be considered by the committee.

To apply, complete for online Sumer Travel Award Application form, on which you will attach a completed Budget Form.

Each applicant must also submit two recommendations by the application deadline. A recommender should e-mail the Summer Travel Award Recommendation Form to with the subject "Reference for [Student's Name]."

The selection committee may interview finalists and request additional recommendations if necessary.

Award recipients will agree to use the funds as stipulated in the proposal and to submit receipts for all expenses to the Business Office within 30 days of completion of the project. Recipients are recognized at Awards Day and are expected to write a brief report about the project.
