Franklin J. Schaffner '42 Theater Award
This award is given in memory of Franklin J. Schaffner '42, the late Academy Award winning director of numerous movies, television programs, and plays, who graduated from F&M in 1942. This award, usually of $4,000, enables students to study British theatre on location. There is no formal application process; possible candidates are considered automatically.
