Confirm Your Participation

Required F&M Materials

Once you have confirmed your participation with your off-campus study program (and paid any required confirmation deposits), you will need to log-in to your off-campus study record on MyDiplomat to confirm your participation with F&M.

Additionally, you will need to complete the following form by the deadlines listed below:

Off-Campus Study Confirmation Form
Complete this form by April 15 for Summer/Fall/Academic Year or by November 15 for Spring programs

Housing and Course Pre-Registration

Leaving Your Housing at Franklin & Marshall

Go to the Off-Campus Study Housing Information for details.

Students are responsible for discontinuing campus housing for the off-campus semester and securing a living situation upon return to Franklin & Marshall.  Complete an Intent to Study Off-Campus form for that office by the stated deadline for each semester.  Waiting to do so until after the deadline may result in a fee, so if you have questions, contact the housing staff as soon as possible.

If you are planning to live in College Hill or College Row and need to find a replacement or sublet, post your vacancy on the campus Room Swap bulletin board, or join the facebook group: F&M College Row.

Returning to Campus After Your Program

If you live in College-Owned or Theme Housing, you are expected to return to campus on the date that housing re-opens.  If you live in other housing options, you are subject to the move-in and move-out regulations that are part of your lease.

An international student who needs to stay in the U.S. during the winter break to secure a visa for study abroad should complete the Winter Break Housing Request Form.

Storage

Students studying off-campus for a semester who need to store belongings may use the F&M Student Storage Program through Groff's Moving & Storage.  There is no on-campus storage available to students studying off-campus for the semester.

Registration for Courses at Franklin & Marshall

About four weeks before the registration deadline, you will receive an e-mail at your Franklin & Marshall address with information on course registration for the upcoming semester.  If you are unable to register for courses online, you must alert the Registrar's Office so that other arrangements can be made.  Once published, the Master Schedule of Classes and Curriculum Supplement will be available from the Registrar's Office.

Your course selections must be submitted by the deadline listed.  If you have questions about pre-registration, contact the Registrar's Office at 717-291-4168.
