Asian Cultural Society


About us

  • We support and respect everyone. Our primary focus is to provide a safe place anyone interested in the Asian Community at Franklin & Marshall College.
  • We do more than get together to watch asian movies, eat asian food and hang out. We are here to support and challenge the perception of Asians in our community.  
  • We work hard in planning Asian Awareness Month and planning monthly events that celebrates and educate us about the Asian Culture.

Quick Facts

  • Asian Cultural Society was called "East Asian Society" until Fall 1997.
  • East Asian Society dates back to Fall 1990. EAS had strong support from the Japanese Department and the International Club. 
  • In Spring 2002, ACS established the Asian Cultural Center in Marshall-Buchanan Residence Hall.
  • In Fall 2006, Asian Cultural Center relocated to the Basement of 625 College Ave in Lancaster, PA.
  • In Fall 2007, Asian Cultural Center relocated to the 2nd floor Office in 625 College Ave.
  • 2008 ACS was recognized by the College for all its hard work in promoting Asian culture at Franklin & Marshall College.
