Office of Multicultural Affairs does have some funding available to assist student clubs/groups or organizations. OMCA wants to support student clubs/groups or organizations with a clear plan and goal. If your student club/group or organization is still in the planning phase without a clear vision or plan, please make an appointment with Xay ChongTua: 717-358-7194 at least 10 business days before your anticipated event date.
Money is given out on a first come first serve basis, thus if funds are depleted for the year there will be no funds available for the rest of the year.
To be eligible for the funding:
If you are interested in the funds, please submit this form. You will need to schedule an appointment with me if your organization is not a recognized student group.
Any event assisted through funding by the office must have the OMCA's name on its advertisement.
OMCA does not give funding to events that have already occurred. It does not provide funds for the supplies of fund-raisers and/or alcohol. In addition, OMCA follows the guidelines from the College and only transfers funds to Club Council accounts.
Please submit the request to OMCA at least 10 business days prior to the date of the event.
If your request for funds is over $500, please submit your request at least 20 business days prior to the date of the event.
