Dear Parents,
You can tell it's the end of the semester at Franklin & Marshall College by the increased number of students up and around campus early on a Sunday morning heading to the libraries. As parents, it may be difficult to relate to the stress our students face during each semester's final examination period -- we know that there are far greater stressors in life. For many of our students, however, the pressure, stress and anxiety they feel as they study for finals and prepare final papers is the biggest challenge in their young lives. Your positive encouragement and reminders to take care of themselves will go a long way in nurturing them through to the successful end of the semester.
Enjoy the holiday season, and all the best to you in the new year! We look forward to seeing our students back on campus for the first day of spring semester classes Tuesday, Jan.15, and we extend a warm welcome to the newest students and their families arriving for their first semester at F&M next month.
