Dear Parents,

The semester is quickly winding down. The last day of classes is Thursday, April 26, the last final exams are on Saturday, May 5, and Commencement is on Saturday, May 12. Our students are working toward a strong academic finish while trying to enjoy the annual springtime diversions -- gorgeous weather, Spring Arts Weekend (April 20 -- 21) and the endless social, cultural, arts and athletic events on and off campus. Effective time management is everything at this time of year -- for all of us!

May 1 -- Decision Day for Accepted Applicants
As you know, our F&M Admission Officers have been busily reading over 5,000 applications during recent months, making difficult decisions among the many impressive students who applied to F&M. more >

New End-of-Year Airport Shuttles
This year, F&M is offering a shuttle to the Baltimore (BWI) and Philadelphia (PHL) airports at the end of the semester. more >

Summer Storage
Each summer, the College partners with Groff's Moving and Storage to meet the summer storage needs of our students. more >

Financial Aid Deadline Approaching
The deadline to apply for need-based financial aid for the 2012-13 academic year for all U.S. citizen and non F-1 Visa students is April 30, 2012. more >

Senior Salute
Nothing signifies the end of the academic calendar like the arrival of caps and gowns. To honor this occasion, the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations is sponsoring a Senior Salute event. more >

Declaration Dinner for Sophomores
At this point in the spring semester, most sophomores are in the process of declaring a major. The Sophomore Class Caucus has organized the inaugural Declaration Dinner on Friday, April 20, to celebrate this academic milestone. more >
