Favorite Book: Maybe Hume's "Enquiry Concerning the Principles of Morals." Right now I'm reading mark Schroeder's "Being For" and wishing I could write something as good.
Favorite Music: Right now I'm listening to a lot of The Hold Stead and John Eliot Gardiner's Bach recordings.
LEAST Favorite Undergrad Class: I took a physics class called "The Science of Sound." Normally it was a great class, but that semester it was being taught by a visitor who was clearly phoning it in. The line I'll always remember: "When you read the textbook and come across a formula, cross it out and write 'there is a formula here that is not importnat right now.'" Not inspiring.
