The Character Project Summer Seminar

Character: New Perspectives and Empirical Discoveries

We will look at work in psychology which is relevant to moral character and engage with recent debates in philosophy by Doris, Harman, Merritt, Snow, Russell, Adams, and others about the existence and nature of character traits.

Participants will receive a stipend of $1500 for attending. All participants will attend the Character Project final conference on June 27-29, 2013

Summer Seminars and Workshops 

The Institute for Humane Studies will host 12 interdisciplinary seminars this summer that explore the importance of individual liberty and economic freedom.

All the seminars take place on college campuses throughout the United States, and there is no cost to attend: IHS provides full scholarships to cover program costs, housing, materials, and food.
