Dr. Anthony Aveni
Colgate University
A lecture by Dr. Anthony Aveni of Colgate University that will explore the widely prophesied end of the world on the December 2012 solstice. Professor Aveni will be measuring theories against evidence from archaeology, iconography and epigraphy as well the cultural and historical context of how different cultures view the "end of things."

Dr. Aveni is the author of numerous books including The End of Time: The Maya Mystery of 2012.
