Plan Your Visit

The Office of Admission will be closed December 23, 2011 through January 2, 2012 for the winter holiday.

We highly encourage students to visit Franklin & Marshall College as this is by far the best way to get a feel for what the College is all about. Sit in on a class. Take a campus tour. Talk to a professor.  Speak with students who have been through the college search.  Have an interview with one of our admission counselors.  The Office of Admission is prepared to customize your visit to suit your needs, and we offer many options. Please remember: exhibited interest in the College is a factor considered for admission.

The following do not require appointments:

Student-led Campus Tours
Monday through Friday, except select holidays, at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Tours take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Common Hour
Looking to get a sense of the Franklin & Marshall community? Every Thursday at 11:30 one of our student ambassadors will escort you to Mayser Gymnasium to join our weekly common hour, which is a culturally and academically enriching event for the entire campus-wide community. Common Hour is designed to inform, challenge your perspectives and create a dialog that continues for the remainder of the week. We hope you use Common Hour as a starting point for discussion with current students & professors during your visit to campus.

These require appointments:

Interviews

Monday through Friday, by appointment

At Franklin & Marshall, we prefer to think of interviews as dialogues. One of our Admission Counselors will sit down with you for approximately 45 minutes and ask about your hopes for the college experience. You will have a chance to ask specific questions about our curriculum, majors, activities, application process, and anything else you would like address.

The interview is your chance to tell us something about you that might not show up on a college application. Tell us what stirs your passion.
