Plan Your Visit

Visiting Franklin & Marshall College is by far the best way to get a feel for what the College is all about. Sit in on a class. Take a campus tour. Talk to a professor or students who have already been through the college search.
Our Office of Admission is prepared to customize your visit to suit your needs, and we offer many options.

The following do not require appointments:

Student-led Campus Tours
Monday through Friday, except holidays, at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
This is your opportunity to see the entire campus through the eyes of a current student.
Tours take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Tour Guides

                                        Meet the Tour Guides

These require appointments:

Information Sessions
10am and 2pm on select Saturdays throughout the fall and winter

Led by a college admission officer, these sessions are an introduction to Franklin & Marshall’s philosophy, program offerings and most distinctive features.

Information sessions last about 45 minutes and include an opportunity for questions.

Visit our Saturday Visit Days page to view available Saturdays and to register.

Interviews
Monday through Friday, by appointment

At Franklin & Marshall, we prefer to think of interviews as dialogues. One of our Admission Counselors will sit down with you for approximately 45 minutes and ask about your hopes for the college experience. You will have a chance to ask specific questions about our curriculum, majors, activities, application process, and anything else you would like address.

The interview is your chance to tell us something about you that might not show up on a college application. Tell us what stirs your passion.

Classroom Visits
By appointment only throughout the academic year (preference given to high school seniors)

The classroom visit is your chance to move beyond the admission process and step into the academic and social circles at Franklin & Marshall College.

You will experience for yourself the academic and interpersonal dynamics that play out in classes where the student-to-faculty ratio is 10:1.

Meetings with Professors and Coaches
By appointment

You are going to spend a lot of time with your professors and athletic coaches once you arrive on campus. This is your chance to find out more about them—and what they will expect from you.

Open Houses
One Saturday in spring, summer and fall

Our open houses are a great way to get to know the campus and the community.
