On behalf of the Department of Public Safety, it is our pleasure to welcome you to Franklin & Marshall College. We want to assure you that the Department of Public Safety will be working around the clock to maintain a safe atmosphere for faculty, staff, students, and visitors alike. We believe that safety is a shared responsibility and ask that you join us in making our campus, as well as our local community, a safe and pleasant place to live.
You can help in many ways: attend a presentation given by our department on safety and security; use the escort services available to all; and primarily by being aware of yourself, your surroundings and belongings.
Working together we will make the Franklin & Marshall community a safe one for living and learning. Feel free to stop by, we are located on the first floor of Marshall-Buchanan Hall.
The Plan is a comprehensive emergency plan that will be activated in the event of a crisis on campus. Please make yourself familiar with the plan. This copy is a draft and will be updated in the very near future.
