Dr. Taber was selected as the first Director of the Klehr Center for Jewish Life. He enjoys his work advising Hillel, assisting Judaic Studies with programming efforts, and supporting the College in their student recruitment, alumni outreach, and development efforts. He has served as the part-time adviser to Hillel since 1991 and is delighted to be able to devote the majority of his time and attention to working with Hillel and its wonderful students.
Wearing the Associate Dean of the College “hat” Dean Taber has almost 37 years of experience in the supervision and administration of student life areas, 29 year at F&M. He currently assists the Dean of the College by serving as the supervisor for the offices of Student Programs/Steinman College Center, Multicultural Affairs, the Ware Institute for Civic Engagement and the LGTBAQ Center. One of his favorite times of the year is when he serves as a one of the trainers who prepare the new College House student staff.
He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Connecticut, his Masters in Education, Counseling and Student Affairs and his Bachelors in History w/Secondary Teaching Certification at Trenton State College – now the College of New Jersey.
