Join the Outreach Committee!
Our goals for the year are:
100% Classmate Contact
70% participation by the Senior class
Create a presence of giving not only with the Senior Class, but among faculty, underclassmen, and staff
Execute the Senior Campaign Program as outlined
The expectations for a Outreach Committee member are as follows:
Make an early gift to the Senior Class Campaign
Write a “Why I Give” story for the F&M Annual Giving Website
Commit to at least two Campaign meetings per semester, and any sub-committee meetings as needed
Select 20 classmates to reach out to, 5 more will be assigned by Campaign Co-Chairs to participate in Senior Campaign with a goal of 15 gifts over the course of the year
Complete your tasks before the next meeting
Assist Steering Committee members in the implementation of one of the three Program Areas
Assist the effort in Communication to classmates to achieved desired goals through; social media, print, electronic communications, and the class facebook page.
Get in touch with at least 20 classmates. Update contact information, encourage them to participate in Senior Class by making a gift to F&M so we can reach our Campaign goals.
Promote Senior Campaign to classmates from September 2013 through Commencement.
o Post once a month on social media if appropriate. Include photos and memories; encourage others to participate in Campaign events & initiatives; and update on Campaign progress & goals.
o Help F&M with a final fundraising push post-Commencement, as we try to reach classmates who haven’t yet given before the college’s fiscal year ends (on June 30, 2014).
Some details about the Program Areas:
Affinities: Keeps regular contact with the liaisons to coordinate events and keep track of participation. Collect completed gift forms from liaisons to hand in to Advisor.
Events: Organizes and promotes events for the Senior Giving Campaign.
Tabling & Marketing: Is responsible for Campaign tabling, marketing, communications and stewardship.
