Induction

The JMPLHS Induction Ceremony is held each Fall after the Executive Board has met to select new members. It is an opportunity to welcome inductees into the society and to inform them about its mission and the opportunities it affords its members.

Past Ceremonies

2013: Craig W. Stedman, District Attorney, Lancaster County, served as the keynote speaker and received honorary membership in the Society.  The ceremony was held in the Druker Humanities Common.

2011: Daniel R. Porterfield, Ph.D., President of Franklin & Marshall College, served as the Keynote Speaker and received honorary membership in the Society. The ceremony was held in the Great Room of Weis College House.

2010: The induction Ceremony was held in Old Main's Nevin Chapel. Franklin & Marshall's Interim President, John F. Burness '67, served as the keynote speaker and was provided honorary membership.

2009: The Induction Ceremony  was held on the 61st floor of the Chrysler Building in New York City. Mr. Paul O. Paradis P’12 hosted the event at his law firm Horwitz, Horwitz & Paradis, served as the keynote speaker, and also received honorary membership.
